Strength & Motion, Cardio Size, and Coffee Talk
Strength & Motion: For beginning and intermediate exercisers. This class is slower paced focusing on technique and the improvement of muscular strength, flexibility, basic cardiovascular health, and range of movement. A chair is used for seated support. No prior exercise experience necessary.
Cardio Size: For intermediate and advanced exercisers. This class is faster paced and focuses on increased cardiovascular endurance, as well as lean muscle development and overall fitness. Participants should be in moderate shape and be able to stand while exercising for 45 minutes.
Coffee Talk: This is a non-exercise, verbal communication class focusing on mental wellness and relaxation. Topics will vary on a weekly basis but will cover issues pertaining to seniors with an emphasis on feeling happy, healthy, and at peace with oneself.
